Energy Saving CFL Lightbulbs

Is it just me? I can't seem to get used to the look of the lighting when using the CFL bulbs. And with the old fashioned bulbs getting harder and harder to find I am in a quandary. The light just doesn't seem as pure or crisp to me. Do these CFL bulbs annoy anyone else? Will the older bulbs truly be phased out completely? What to do?

I know what you mean! The lighting in some of my rooms looks odd. It takes awhile for my eyes to adjust to the light but we are being green!

I too find them irritating, it takes a bit longer for them to turn on. But, I never mind the small sacrifices.
